What is a Telemedicine appointment like?

The Central Florida Bone and Joint Institute team is excited to offer Telemedicine to our patients. We will make your appointment as stress free as possible. Just as if you were in the office, a member of our scheduling team will call you, confirm your insurance information, and walk you through the check-in process. We will obtain your permission to treat you via telemedicine. Next, one of our clinical team members will perform an initial assessment and make sure your IT equipment is connected to our telemedicine service provider. Once you are connected, you will begin your visit with the same top-rated orthopedic providers that you would normally see in any of our orthopedic office locations in Orange City and Lake Mary.

Do I have to be an established patient to have a Telemedicine appointment?
